Kasyah’s Legend Begins

Yesterday Abah called me.

“Angah, when you will back home?”
“Maybe on Thursday, I want to meet my friends at Malacca first.”
“Can you make it hurry? Then you can help clean the house. Alang, Kak Teh is comeback late. Certain wall needs to be paint also.”
“Okeh….okeh… I will arrive at home before iftar on Wednesday. I get my last test on Tuesday and then I rush to Malacca. I will stay at Apis house.”
“It’s alright if you have test. See you on Wednesday.”

I am grateful for not getting into any trouble in trying to ‘balik kampung‘ this time. Further Alhamdulillah for I have my own transport this semester. The last time I had to make a trip back home, I had to find a ticket to KL or get a lift with Uda if he does go back to KL for Aidilfitri.

It wouldn’t be that much of a trouble if I were to take the last minute ticket to KL but who would want to celebrate Aidilfitri in KL? Would you?

The current plan (after I finish my exam) is to start my journey to Malacca at 2pm. I’m ditching PLUS Highway for the more common roads because I want to save money. Plus, I despise someone.. you-Know-who. The trail will start from Skudai>Kulai>Simpang Renggam>Ayer Hitam>Yong Peng>Batu Pahat>Muar>Merlimau>Ayer Molek> Ayer Keroh.

I’m travelling solo at the moment. So, I welcome those without any transport to go back home to hop along and join my little journey. Everything’s on me!

Last but not least, Lan Rasso is unable to celebrate Aidilfitri with his family this year. He will be alone in Skudai on the first day of Aidilfitri. Anybody staying at Skudai? Girls, please do him a favour.
